Default jesus idenity

one reason i was drawn to preterism is the fact that you believe what the scriptures plainly say.taking this premise-when we look at ephesians chapter 1 we can clearly see that in verses 3 and 17 that the father is the GOD of jesus.and in verse 20 we can see that the father of glory raised jesus up from the dead.how in the world can a bible reader think that the father and son are equal without distorting this?this would be similiar to what futurists do with prophecy.

The scripture never says that the Father is the Lord of Jesus. Mark 9:31 in our English Bibles says that on the third day the Son of Man shall rise from the dead. The verb "to rise" is in the middle voice and literally means "and the third day He shall raise Himself up from the dead."

The Father and the Son are one. This is the whole truth.
