i noticed in part 5 he closed out his prayer with, "...YOU judge in this world through YOUR people..."

what does he mean by that?

Not really sure. But I'm sure it has something to do with God working "Through" His people in whatever He is doing.

I'd have to listen to the whole message again. He may have been referring back to something else he had said.

curious: what is judgement to the preterists? how does GOD judge in the times we live in now, if HE does at all?

Considering that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow it would be reasonable to assume that his form of judgment is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. So...Does the Bible give us any clues as to how He judges wickedness? Yes it does. He uses one nations armies as His Divine instrument of wrath.

Read the Old Testament prophets...It's all over them.

so in today's terms, america can be seen as an instrument of GOD's wrath? if so, are we likened to that same type of judgement?

Absolutely...If America were to remain humble and give credit where credit is due then America will continue to be in God's graces and a tool usable by Him. On the other hand if America keeps moving in the direction that it is I have a hard time not seeing God turning on America as He did other nations he used in the Bible. Once they became prideful and haughty He brought them down. Babylon is a great example of this. They were His divine instrument of wrath that he chose to raise up. But when they became proud and gave themselves the credit that was due God he turned around and destroyed them as well.

that's exactly where i'm going with all the news i post. i feel we are on the verge of judgment.

our economy is in collapse, we will lose standing in the world. it will be different.

i also believe that we will face military invasion from other countries. the type of judgment we are discussing here.

no doubt this nation has turned its back to GOD.
